How do I disable ZERKAR InkTag ?

The "ZERKAR InkTag" can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. Once disabled, it will no longer report to Google’s Find Hub network or Apple’s Find My network, and the owner will no longer receive updates on its current location. It will also stop triggering unknown tracker alerts. If you receive a notification on your Android or iOS device indicating that a "ZERKAR InkTag" has been detected nearby and you are unfamiliar with this device, you can make it ring through the system notification. After locating the device, follow the steps below to disable it.

Disable via Button Press:

· Find the multifunction button on the side of the "ZERKAR InkTag" .

· Press and hold the button for three seconds. A long confirmation beep will sound.

Disable via Battery Removal:

· Locate the screw holes on the back of the "ZERKAR InkTag" , peel off the silicone protective sticker, and use a screwdriver and a small tool to open the battery cover.

· After removing the PCBA module, remove the battery from the module.

· Close the "ZERKAR InkTag" by aligning the alignment marks on the two models.

Re - enable the "ZERKAR InkTag" :

To re - enable the "ZERKAR InkTag" , either press the button or reinstall the battery.

Press the Button:

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds in the off state, the device will play a short “chord tone” and then release the button to turn on the device automatically.[The broadcasting time is 10 minutes after power on, if no pairing and binding within 10 minutes, the broadcasting will be turned off automatically and enter the shutdown mode]

Replace the Battery:

If you removed the battery, place a new CR2025 coin battery inside with the positive side up, and close the device.

Factory Reset and Pairing:

Restore Factory Settings: After 5 consecutive button clicks in the power-on state, the device

will play a “short chord tone”, and the product will be restored to the factory state.

Important Notes:

· When the "ZERKAR InkTag" is paired with an Android device, it operates as a Google Find Hub locator tag. If paired with an iOS device, it functions as an Apple Find My locator tag.

· For pairing, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that it has internet access. To activate the "ZERKAR InkTag", press the button once, and you will hear a melody confirming activation.

· You can remove the "ZERKAR InkTag" from either the Google Find Hub app on Android or the Find My app on iOS. If it’s within Bluetooth range, a factory reset will automatically occur upon removal from the app. If out of range, perform a manual factory reset.
